The Neville Public Museum has lined up two big events on Feb. 6 & 7. Both events are in conjunction with the “Who are the Hmong Series.”

After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Leng, a Hmong-American man, returns to Laos to pay tribute to his late father, whom he never knew. Upon arriving in a small Hmong village, however, Leng’s health rapidly deteriorates. Under the care of Joua Pao, Leng begins the gradual process of healing. Leng is also befriended by Gao Hlee, a young woman who helps him gain new insights into his journey.

Hmong Lecture Series: Hmong Entrepreneurs
Join realtor and community leader, Xia Moua, in a lecture about the major differences between traditional Hmong entrepreneurs and today’s 21st Century Hmong entrepreneurs. Moua will share her stories of how her heritage and experiences affected her career, challenges entrepreneurs face today, and what helps Hmong entrepreneurs thrive.
